whats a good way to clean a coffee pot of the stains

When I used to work in a restaurant we put about 1/4 cup of salt in the coffee pot with a bunch of ice cubes.  We vigorously swirled the ice cubes around in a circular motion.  It worked OK.  These days I use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  They're great at cleaning almost everything without scratching anything.

Just spray with "Fantastic with Bleach", let sit for about one minute, then wash VERY well with regular dish detergent and the hottest water you can handle.  Rinse VERY well.  You'll be absolutely amazed.  I even use this method to clean coffee and tea mugs - really, anything (except aluminum!).

add 1 cup of white vinegar to enough water to fill pot run through pot a couple of times,then rinse well,all the stains will be gone.
