  1. I am sooo with you on this. I have found the only way to motivate myself is to have a workout buddy so I have someone to force me to get together and keep trying

  2. just keep on doing it

  3. Super glue and duct tape ,   worked for me  !

  4. Don't do it so much each day that you feel sick of it.  Also, don't do the same exact routine each day; not only will it just bore you, but your body will get used to it and you'll stop seeing improvements.  Don't exercise for more than an hour a day for the same exact reasons that I just mentioned.

Using this as a solution has really helped me lately.

Another trick is exercising with someone else who already exercises regularly.  Having a friend call you and encouraging  you to get your butt up will help you stay focused.  Stay away from other work-out buddies who are just as lazy as you are.  You'll both just end up sitting around.

    Hope that helps!

  5. I would find an activity that you like and try to stick with it.  Try to schedule it as you would going to work....also...they recommend that you can increase calorie burn by increasing daily activities like walking up the stairs and parking farther away.  If I were you...I would find an activity that you enjoy..you will be come less bored. . . . Maybe you could go dancing :>

  6. A reward system- whether it be with food (not recommended), a small shopping trip, etc.

I would also use little stickers or dots- green for YAY, I exercised today! Yellow for- I got some exercise, but not what I should have, and red for NOPE, not today!

If you exercise 3-4 days per week, you're doing great!!! Meaning, if you can count 3-4 green dots within a week, you're fine!

Something like this is easy to document and track!

  7. There's not a simple answer to your question, but if you make a decision that exercising is just as important as eating or sleeping, you will do it.  Sometimes I say this, "If I have time to eat every day and time to sleep every day, I have time to exercise at least 5 days a week."  I don't skip eating and I don't skip sleeping, therefore, I don't allow myself to skip exercising.

I make a rule for myself: I don't go more than 2 consecutive days without exercising.  If I'm feeling tired, I allow myself to shorten my workout time, but I don't allow myself to skip.  Some workouts are more intense than others, and that's OK.  Just don't skip.  Sometimes, once you get started, you'll surprise yourself, even on days you're feeling "tired."  Find things that you like to do and make it convenient for yourself.  Use great music on your ipod or set up a TV in your workout room.

  8. I do the same thing.  Just keep forcing yourself to do it, and then it'll become part of your daily routine and it'll be much easier to keep going.
