  1. Study and study smart. Break your studying up into two parts.

Part 1: General all around studying. Start with outlines and class notes. Choose one or two (at most) NCLEX test books. Recent is good, but if you have access to free ones that are two-three years old, that'll be fine. If you have a study group, meet with them and go over everything, category by category. Know your basic blood values and common test results.

Part 2: Areas of concentration. Did you hate pharmacology? If the U.S. is not your first country, go over Psych more. What were the hardest areas for you, the ones you would rather have avoided? Are there areas you were sure you knew, but did poorly on the tests? Spend extra time on these. Mix it up with part 1; keep coming back to these more difficult areas.

There are a lot of other things I could say, but this is what most of it boils down to. Good luck to you, and remember to take lots of breaks ... go for a walk when you get burnt out.... do other things besides "just" study. It is SO worth it.
