  1. out of curiousity why do you hate weather.com?

    Anyhow:

www.weather.gov (please note this one is .gov not .com) is the National Weather Service site.  On the left hand side is a box to enter your city and state, that will give you your forecast.  It may be (probably will be) different from the Weather Channel's (who operate weather.com) as they use their own software and forecast models from what I understand.

There's also the Storm Prediction Center's watch and warning map: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/wwa/

It shows where there are ANY watches or warnings from winter weather to fire weather.  If a watch or warning is active for any type, it is hyperlinked.  The information isn't too hard to read.

One last source.  EmergencyEmail.org  You can have alerts of a variety of types sent to you via email.

  2. well i like weather.com

u can always listen to the radio

  3. Use the National Weather Service website http://www.weather.gov

The Storm Prediction Center (responsible for issuing severe thunderstorm and tornado watches) http://www.spc.noaa.gov

  4. Local news webistes/ television stations. Try NOAA radio or NOAA.com.

  5. Check to see if your local news station has a website. If so, just go to the weather link.

  6. NOAA
