Like Indie dude said, you need a prescription for contacts whether you need actual correction or not. Your cornea has a specific shape that has to be measured and then calculated into a base curve. Contacts are not one size fits all, and you can damage your eyes by wearing ill fitting contacts.

It is best if you go to a doctor and get a contact lens exam. Even if they are not corrective, contact lenses are still by prescription only (at least in the USA they are) and if you don't have them fitted correctly, you could damage your eyes
