Whats a good website to buy good used books with cheap or free shipping?

Question

besides ebay and amazon, for amazon some books would be a penny, but then the shipping would be five bucks..soo.

do you know any good sites?

There are some great websites that allow you to trade books. See my profile for links. This allows you to get rid of a book you no longer want and get something you do want in return. Titletrader is awesome because you can trade books, dvd's and vhs tapes. So if you get rid of a book you may be able to get a dvd in exchange. Paperback swap is only for books.

Abebooks (abebooks.com or abebooks.co.uk) have some very good deals, though postage can be high if you buy outside the country you live in.  

Play.com has free postage anywhere in Europe (not sure if they have a US branch) and has second-hand as well as new books, though not such a good selection as Amazon.

This is an ebay store, but they sell mostly new books, but at reasonable prices - they even have a sale going on now.  They have something going where if you buy several items from them you get free shipping.  

They also offer free gifts and gift wrapping with your purchases.  Nice customer service.  I've purchased from them a few times and I've always been happy with my purchases.
