Whats a good weight for a 12 year old girl?

I'm one hundred and twenty two pounds, and i'm five feet tall. I'm only twelve. I use to de gymnastics but was forced to quit after a surgery 4 months ago.

The girls at my school are all the little plastics and are always making the stupid fat comments to me. All of my other friends say i'm not fat but i don't know who to go with.

So what would be the average weight for a twelve year old girl such as me?

i know exactly how you feel. its really intimidating when all the girls around you are stick thin and you are the odd one out. however, i think that your weight is fine for your height. just because you aren't ridiculously skinny doesn't mean you aren't at a good weight. the important thing is that you are healthy. if you want, you can look up charts online that say what a good weight range is for your height. i think you are at a good weight though!

I'm honestly not sure, but you shouldn't worry about what the girls at your school say. Be happy with who you are and be grateful for the fact that you have a body to carry you around every day. Some people aren't even that lucky.

It has to do with your height not your age.  Your not technically overweight.  But you are a bit heavy for that height.  But I'm sure you look just fine, girls can be mean at that age.  If you wanted to take off a few lbs just watch what you eat, but don't over do it.  You really aren't fat by any stretch of the imagination.  Best of luck.
