  1. You really should use your real name but many don't so you could go Ian or Jill something of that nature.

    Welcome to the club!

I hope your learning lot's in your studies:) Just remember "Karma" and you will be just fine...

  2. ugh stupid ignorant if u get into witch craft u will be opening a lot of demonic door in ur life witch u shouldn't open go to a church and ask for forgiveness

  3. Remember that your true Witch name is private and it is only between you and the universe (The Goddess)...

  4. Denise.

  5. The best thing to do is wait until you are further along with your training and see if there are any myths or goddesses you particularly identify with.

I see Itinklover14 is showing her ignorance. Witches do not even BELIEVE  in the Devil or Satan so we certainly could never worship him or his minions.

Try researching things before you talk about them. You will look smarter.

  6. Well... Jillian.

  7. I hope that you are old enough to know what your getting yourself into...

But as for a name... I dont think you need a different one... why would you?

Sabrina and Samantha never changed there names?

  8. You don't need a witch name to be a witch, but if you do have one it could be whatever you want.  Here is my random anagram of your name for it, Nijilla.

  9. Your witch name is personal and only you can choose it.  Silver Ravenwolf covers choosing your witch name in her book, To ride a silver broomstick.  Try reading it.  It's a good book for beginners.  Sometimes choosing a witch name makes you feel closer to spirit.  It was started back in the times when being a witch could get you killed, and to protect one another, people took craft names and were known by only these names by others of like mind.  It was a way of protecting each others identies during torture.  Enjoy your search and your studies.  When you are ready, your craft name will come.  Some recieve it from their guides, some dream it.  You will know it.

    Blessed Be

  10. Asking for your witch name on Y/A is just a little tacky, doncha think? Your studies should be very personal to you and so should your Craft name. It will be a reflection of who you are and what you want people to identify you with. There's a reason we don't use our mundane names in many pagan social settings and we certainly don't announce to the world what our Craft name is. Some of us have changed or added to our names as we've reaching "milestones". Some of us feel it appropriate to have two names (one for ritual only). Not any witch I've ever known has had to ask a forum for help. Back to the books and focus on what's really important. When it's time for a name, you'll know what it is.

  11. Darl, it is a deeply personal thing - and not really vital to a working path.

I know people who've just played with "name generator" sites until they found something they liked. & Some people change as they mature.

    Some prefer a working name/patron diety & other's just don't give a hoot.

It is what makes you feel comfortable.

    .

  12. ian

  13. How about your own? Your name is pretty, I am all for keeping your own name. But that is just my opinion, but if you are set on changing , meditate on it, something will come to you.
