I'll never understand how Halloween went from being a day of dressing up as scary creatures and evil spirits to mimic or placate the souls of the creatures that haunt the night to being a night of dressing up as comic book characters and s**y nurses or s**y cats; s**y batman, s**y pikachu, s**y secretary, or even s**y alien.

But if you want to participate in the ways of modern college Halloween parties and be the most smokin' concoction of scantly-clad pop culture at the drunken costume parties then keep it old school with some creativity.  If you have to be The Bride of Frankenstein, expend on it by being The Recently Divorced Ex-Wife of Frankenstein Then Later Remarried Bride of Swamp Thing.
