Whats a gymnastics exhibition in the olympics?

I though I wouldn't get to see Shawn and Nastia till the next World Championships but on msnbc thay said they would have coverage on gymnastics exhibition?

so whats that?

I think now that all the medals are awarded, the athletes come back to perform routines, basically for fun and show.  To thank the crowd and all that, for TV of course.  One last goodbye, no judges, no scores, no medals, just good sportsmanship.

It is where the "Champions" (medalists) get to participate in an exhibition. No rules, do gymnastics, just for fun. It is pretty entertaining usually. It will be aired today (8/20) sometime in the next hour or two on NBC.
