  1. It's a thin skin membrane that covers the external vaginal opening. It breaks when you have s*x for the first time, and it tends to bleed. Many women experience a lot of pain when they first have s*x. However, it can vary and some don't even feel it. It's not common for it to break in other situations, though. It can break with horse riding or gymnastics - but it's not very common.

  2. it's basically like the flap in the vag hole... like when you have s*x it tears so the p***s can go all of the way in..... and it bleeds.. a lot... its like tearing the skin betweeen your thumb and index finger...

  3. The hymen is a thin membrane that partially blocks the v****a in most women who have never had s*x.  It rarely seals off the opening completely, but it usually blocks part of it.  The hymen tends to break and wear away with regular exercise and/or during sexual intercourse.

Sometimes it bleeds slightly and hurts somewhat when it breaks, and this has often been taken as a sign that a woman is a virgin when she has s*x for the first time.  However, it's not a reliable indicator, as many women don't have much of a hymen to begin with, and others have hymens that stretch enough to allow intercourse without breaking the hymen.

The importance of the hymen is greatly exaggerated by folk mythology and cultural customs.  It is not possible to prove that a girl is or isn't a virgin just by examining the hymen.  It doesn't always hurt or bleed the first time a girl engages in intercourse.  It's really just a tiny anatomical detail that is practically useless for determining a girl's sexual experience (or lack thereof).

  4. ignore the first posting - it's slightly OTT and google it

  5. it's the worst pain in the world you should never let no one break it unless its a life partner.  you would hate to go through that much pain for nothing
