  1. This is going to be long. But its all of the basic classes offered by the AMHA (American Miniature Horse Association). The AMHR has the same basic classes with more height divisions and lead line classes for children

    Classes:

Basic Halter - divided into age of people, then ages and heights of horses ie: JR. Mares 28: and under

    Specialty Halter Classes-

Produce of Dam - 2  produce; either s*x to be show, dam not to be shown

Get of Sire - 3 get; either s*x to be show, sire not to be shown

Mare and Foal - mare and current years foal

3 by 1 owner - 3 horses owned by an individual or farm, horses judged individually

Sire and Get - sire with 2 get to be shown

Best matched pair - the name describes it, one handler per horse

Amateur- limited to amateur exibitors, you have to qualify to be condidered and amateur

Youth - youths 18 and under

Ladies - ladies 19 and older

Horses and competers will qualify for nationals based on a point system. The circuts vary by region. So, your best bet would be to find your local mini horse club and get the show information from them. But basically the ladder goes: local shows, regional, nationals

  2. is this for an in-hand-leading event with a miniature horse?
