Whats a more natural way to kill ants than using ant spray?

I have a 4 year old and I don't like spraying the ant spray around her fearing she'll inhale it or touch a spot I sprayed it.

Any natural ways to kill or get rid of ants?

Stamp on the bleeders.  No seriously you can buy Ant Traps in most Supermarkets they are small plastic containers you break the seals and leave them where the ants run and away from the child the ants go in collect the poison and take it back to the nest, BYE BYE ANTS

I have tried this tip and it works.  Just use 1 to 2 cups of grits.

Grits. Just pour small piles from the container. Ants eat it, drink water and swell up and die. Safe for kids and pets.

Sprinkle cornmeal around the areas where the ants are.  It will kill them within 24 hours.

If your talking about the little ones inside the house you can put a little bowl of honey in a corner. They will go to it and drown.
