  1. Go to Central London, Mahroosh Restaurant

  2. It's hard to get an uncrowded bar if you go central.  But I can suggest a couple of places to try which have a special something that makes them different (I've been to all of them so can recommend them)!...

Souk Medina - Seven Dials (Covent Garden):

It's a restaurant but you can just go for drinks.  It's Moroccan and the decor and ambience is so cool, but relaxed.

    ----

    Gordon's Wine Bar, Embankment

This is London's worst-kept secret.  If it's a nice evening, sitting outside is recommended.  Gorgeous.

    ----

    The Living Room, Mayfair

Classy, cool, great cocktails - also used by David Bowie for the Spiders From Mars album cover.... how cool can you get?

    Albannach, Trafalgar Square

Again, great cocktails, stylish decor, also a brilliant whisky menu (if that's your thing)... it CAN get crowded, depends on which day of the week you go, but for two of you, I am sure you can find a quiet corner to sit and stare into each other's eyes.

  3. Valmont Club, The

    266-266a Fulham Road, Chelsea, SW10 9EL

Not sure howe much you want to spend but this looks like a good one

  4. How about Zakudia - tasty cocktails and great views!
