Whats a notebook/binder

this might sound so legally blondish but on my school supply list is says 1 notebook/binder is it a notebook or a binder????

  1. Putting the "slash" between those words, means you can buy either one.

    Some people call their notebook a binder, and others call their binders notebooks.

    But, it also means they want something that you can use to insert documents, pages, and reports into, not just a note PAD.

    Normally, a "binder" comes with a zipper too, so things you put inside it, like pencils, pens, erasers, will not fall  out.

    Is this clear/understandable/helpful?


  2. a notebook binder is a small binder, full of loose leaf paper, so basically a notebook in side a binder.

    or it could mean you need both, or either one, but i believe it is what i said above.  

  3. Something that keeps pages together to jot down your notes; a notebook OR binder.
