  1. NO!  there is a place where u can recycle them.  this is the only site that i know of that can recycle the cds for a small fee.

    www.greendisk.com

  2. Before you throw them out or recycle them... see if you can come up with a creative way to reuse them.  Here are some fun craft projects you can do with used CD's

But as the other poster said... check out http://www.greendisk.com to recycle them.

EDIT:  Just found another website that accepts CD for recycling:  http://www.recyclingcds.com/

  3. Far as I know, they are not recycleable.  You could donate them to a school to use for art projects.

  4. I like to drive around and throw them out the window.

  5. I would check with your local city/town/community recycling plant (assuming you have one). A CD is partially made of a kind of plastic so it's good to reuse that material. There's loads of info if you search "how to recycle CDs".

Oh, and make sure that you get rid of any private data by throwing the relevant discs in the microwave. :)

  6. Yea just throw them away, or see if someone else wants them.
