  1. Dear, when you say DVD, you refer to a disc that its name is Digital Versatile Disc that uses Red ray laser beam to read and write data o the disk up to 18 GB (Double Layer Double Side). And BD is another optical disc that uses Blue ray laser beam to read and write data that according to the shortest wave length of blue ray than red ray, it can storage up to 52 GB (Double layer only). So don't use Blue ray DVD!

    Note that BDs are in 50 GB to have a balance on both layers.
