  1. You can keep the points, but I'll offer examples.

SURELY you must know what RADIO means in the most general sense. NON VISUAL.

Here in the USA, a currently running SOAP OPERA, began on TV in 1948. Prior to that it ran on radio daily. MANY, OLDER, had been running for 20 years prior to that.

Logic dictates that RADIO, probably has to be more expressive, since it is a NON visual medium. That would equate to effects, more than the context of the script, and pauses interrupted by a few bars of music, as well as half coconuts tapped on a board, re-creating footsteps, etc.

Few radio shows today are SCRIPTED,,, IE: 104.1 FM.

Few if any, radio stations run any DRAMA, and if so, very likely on AM.

Garrison Keeler, very likely the KING of radio drama/comedy/musical entertainment, From Lake Wobegon, ETC. brought to Listeners in ear shot, Live performances, in front of a live audience, that could be heard by those unable to see that in person.

No offense but I hope you've already tried this?

In many cases today SCRIPTED radio is a commercial, while being a LIVE read, initially, which the person is paid for. Once it's been recorded, that person will only get any pay, IF they do it again in a LIVE read.
