  1. You might not need new gloves at all. It could be a matter of how you are hitting the bag.

When you hit the bag, you want your arm fully extended, and your elbow straight. You are not trying to kill the bag, it's just a target. Just tap it.

If your arm is bent when you hit the bag, your muscles are still trying to move your arm foreward, and that puts alot of pressure on your wrist. The pain comes from repeated sudden impacts on your wrist, and the nerves get pushed up against a bone.

  2. It depends on wieght and what you are looking for but if your wrists hurt even with gloves try wrapping them with cloth wraps and then going over the wrist and knuckles lightly with athletic tape.  You can find a good glove anywhere online an i would suggest buying 14-16 oz at titleboxing.com or ringside.com both have good gloves

  3. its not the gloves its because you are punching the wrong way. you need to get a trainer to look at your punching and have him correct this before your hurt yourself and develop bad habits
