Whats a safe way to gradually lighten hair without getting an orange color?

I was blond when i was younger and now my hair is light brown. =)

First off, GO TO A SALON. Not that I don't trust you could do it yourself, but a professional can not only keep the color from turning orange, but she can also so to it that you do not damage your hair.

I recommend starting with partial highlights in a medium-to-dark blond color. After 6 weeks or so (when your hair has had time to recover from the last process), go back to the salon and get another set of highlights throughout your hair. Gradually, after 2-3 appointments total, you can safely get your hair to blond.

if you don't want to go to a salon..then i reccomend a product called SUN IN...it's a spray that you spray in your hair and then all you have to do is sit in the sun...good luck and i hoped i helped
