1. Sani = Sanitary.

If you want to be sanitary, wear one.

  2. Another word for Sanitary Napkin, used for your monthly period. Stayfee, Kotex, are a few brand names. I imagine these countries sell their own..so if you forget I dont think its a real biggee..

  3. Sanitary napkin. For your time of the month. Most girls now use tampons.

  4. a good bit of advice, if you ask me! I'm sure you gathered from the above answers that they are menstrual pads. If you are traveling out of state, or in your case out of country, you may not be able to find the brands that you like, or the packaging may be different, so you won't recognize your favorite brand.

Stock up for your trip and have a great one! :)

EDIT: I mean no offense, Boggy, but it is quite possible that brand recognition has a lot to do with which one a customer purchases. For example, I like the ones in a green package, that are individually wrapped in pink plastic, and have wings. What brand name is this? I have no idea. So if I travel to a different country where the label is different, in a different language or just simply in a different color of package, I would have no idea which one to purchase. I did not mean that they were simply unavailable there or that Europe is in the dark ages. LOL! Take care.

  5. sanitary pad

A sanitary towel, sanitary pad, sanitary napkin, Maxi pad (U.S.), menstrual pad or pad is an absorbent item worn by a woman while she is menstruating, recovering from vaginal surgery, for lochia (post birth bleeding), abortion, or any other situation where it is necessary to absorb the flow of blood from the v****a.

  6. sanitary pads, for FEMALES

  7. May I just point out as a European, that all the above countries have good supplies of such things and international brands. We are well out of the Dark Ages now! Sani pad is an old fashioned term for sanitary towels and as someone pointed out, most people use tampons now (and yes, they do have them in Europe). Joking apart, have a lovely holiday and don't worry about such things not being available.

  8. sounds liek she meant maxi pads?
