  1. ...I think the bill was enough of a gift they get enough money anyway ;D

  2. No gift.. just a thank you card and tell him in person that you appreciate what he did for you.. Remember some are good doctors and dedicated to  their jobs and others just want to get a lot of patients and don't care about the individual person. This one seems to be a good doctor.. it's his job.. that he is a great doctor to him is a gift and he can be proud to have women coming to him who get real help but don't give him a personal gift.. give him your heartfelt thanks and write a nice card..

  3. No gift is necessary.    I'm sure he would appreciate a sincere note.  Also, write a nice letter to the hospital complimenting him.

  4. You shouldn't give him a gift. Besides, if he's a specialist then what he did was his job. It's great you are out of pain, but if he really cares then him knowing you are better is gift enough for him.

  5. Maybe a nice ink pen with the doctor's office name engraved on the pen.

    Thanks for asking

  6. I think it is a lovely gesture to give a gift to your doctor.  I think make it a small gift however - otherwise it could be a little over the top considering it's probably not so common these days and you are paying him!

A nice, sincere thankyou note along with perhaps something like a box of chocolates, or a small desk ornament would probably do it.

  7. I don't recommend sending a gift.  First doctors are really not supposed to except gifts from their patients second it could cause your doctor to become uncomfortable around you.  If you would like to show your appreciation simply send a card to the office.  This will let him know that you are appreciative but doesnt make it seem strange because the card is addressed to the office not just him.  You don't want to lose the excellent doctor that you have found by creating an uncomfortable situation.

  8. doctors aren't supposed to accept gifts, but my grandmother always liked to give them gifts, she would always take a tie or some formal socks.

  9. I adore my vet,and every Christmas before the staff party I take over a couple of hundred cookies and an enormous cake that I made.It is always a huge hit.

  10. It's a nice thought. But it isn't appropriate to give gifts to your physician. Send a thank you card, otherwise it creates the appearance of impropriety. The last thing you want to do is cause problems for this person who helped solve yours.
