im reading this thing on how this guy has a race and he looses but then in another book says how this girls wins a race.

so im wondering

what does a thematic statement mean?

A thematic statement is when you setting the basis for your paper. an example of this would be,

Barry and Myop led very different lives, but each had to come face to face with the loss of their own innocence.
