Well I am 21 will be 22 by March and i have a 17 month old and I'm happily married and we just bought a very nice house and are thinking about #2. Nothing wrong with it. Some people start live sooner than others some prefer the PARTY scene, not me i enjoy my son so much and would love to have a daughter. Do what u want =)

Well..... the way i see it is there never really is a "right" time to have another one, but i want one. But you already have started and if you and your partner feel ready to have another child and care for two kids then i would say go for it... if you are trying to cinvince your partner tell him you dont want too big of an age gap between your first and second born thats about the best reason i could think of... i'm 19 and wanting my second, my first is 17 months, but i still have lots to get through so i know the timing isnt right for me but if your ready for it i say why not?!? your the perfect age for a family not too old not too young

if you feel your clock ticking then do soemthing about it dont hold off or you could regret it! lol good luck

I can't think of any "good reasons" to be trying for baby #2 that are specifically related to being 21 years old. I can think of some possible negatives, but even those just depend upon your specific situation.

EDIT: What's with the thumbs down? I said there is no good reason SPECIFICALLY RELATED to her age. I didn't say there can't be a good reason at all. But any good reason there is, based on her situation, could be a good reason for anybody regardless of age. And I also said that there may be negatives, but again that depends upon the specific situation. NOT specifically being age 21.

Well Im 21 with one kid and I wouldnt want another yet but my aunt had 3 kids by the age of 21. I would say the good things are:

~you are younger and have more energy to run around with them

~ your kids will be grown by the time you are 40...which leaves u time left to "have a life" (fun or whatever you wanna call it) after your kids

~ your kids might feel more comfortable talking to you as they get older because you will still be fairly young and you wont seem so "ancient" and behind the times as an older parent would.

because you've already started?? u  dont want ur first child to be 10 then starting all over again with the bottles and nappies...no way!!!!

ive been asking myself if we should go for number 2 aswell. 22 next month, dont let ppl tell u ur too young
