Inline Disel Injection as it implies rather than using individual supply lines it uses one rail to supply fuel to all cylinders. Benefits pressure is constant more efficient fuel delivery as when the air is injected with the fuel is all constant. Fall out if the rail corrodes is one expensive repair. there is also SDI swirl diesel injection that goes by other names but the fundamentals are simple works like a regular gasoline injection system except that it goes into a chamber that has a swirl on it prior to entering the cylinder, the chamber builds up gases from the injection of the diesel and creates a pressurized chamber that maintains a constant pressure in the delivery system along with the pressurized air it enter at a quite impressive ratio.
