  1. miami is quite a long flight so you may get bored, but the plane will have films to watch and theyll give you a meal or two depending on the flight time. i suppose it is like travelling in a car but your in the air, i always get scared of taking of so i usully just sit in my seat and close my eyes when we start to take off it does tend to help a bit, i suggest that if you get travel sick then tke travel sickness tablets because you dont want to throw up on a plane. yes you can take ipods and nintendo ds, i always listen to my ipod on the plane when i get bored, hope you have a great time x

  2. if you get sick in the car, you may want to take some dremamine before you get on the flight...But personally, I love the feeling after the plane clears its landing gear and takes you high into the sky!

  3. it like sitting on a bus, a bus with waiters and a view.

getting sick in a car is different from getting sick on a plane, you will most likely be fine.

i think you will love it.

    have fun!

  4. It will be very pleasant for everyone.

Especially if they cant hear that annoying hiss hiss hiss that your ipod might make, so keep it turned down.

Try not to fidget in your seat or run up and down the aisles because it is a long flight and people will get annoyed.

Yes it is like being in a car except you go faster.

  5. first off flying is beautiful, its the best thing ever, you will enjoy it. take off is great. flying is very relaxing and its safer then cars.

    have fun

  6. flying is awesome

you can use gadgets, as long as they dont give off a signal which could mess with the instruments, ipods and nintendo DS's are fine

if you're old enough then i recomend having a whiskey or something when you get in the air, thatll calm you down if you get nervous

  7. its just a long time where you sit and try to pass time. your allowed to use ipod and nintendo Ds when your in the air. they serve crappppy food. but if your flying with a bro or sis you;ll be fine.

  8. It depends on you. Personally I don't find it scary in the slightest. once you're in the air you can barely feel that you're moving unless there is turbulance. You won't get motion sickness because you don't feel like you're moving. The best (or worst for some) bit is taking off and landing, you get a really wierd sensation, like when you're on a roller coaster and are almost forced back into your seat. I think flying is really cool and fun, but my mum hates it. I think people only hate flying because they are scared of falling out of the sky. But actually, less people die or are hurt from plane accidents that driving. So unless you're scared of driving you shouldn't be of flying!

Have fun on you're holiday, wish I was going to Miami!

  9. I love flying. I get a real buzz when the plane builds up speed on the runway and leaves the ground. I usually spend the whole flight looking out of the window at the views. I do get travel sick but not on planes. I wouldn't say it was scary as you can't feel much movement, except when you go through turbulence and it gets a bit bumpy.

Remember that it's statistically the safest form of transport in the world – it's more dangerous crossing the street.

Your ears might hurt a bit as the cabin pressure equalises – just blow your nose or suck a sweet.

ipods and electronic games can be used but not during the take-off, descent and landing phases.
