  1. Spanish

  2. I think Latin is easier to take because with latin you don't have to worry about pronouncing the words, with spanish you do..with latin you can also learn about a lot of the culture which is really interesting, plus with latin it can help you better with SATs tests and such...

Spanish is not as good as latin, that's what I think...

  3. Spanish is easier in grammar...

  4. Why not check it our for yourself? I don't think Latin is particularly difficult.

You can start to learn a little Latin here: http://latinum.mypodcast.com

If you like it, then think about taking it.

  5. Latin.  I'm taking it right now. Lot's of the word sound the same as English words since lots of the English has derived from Latin.  Also, Latin will be more useful.  Yes, it is a "dead" language, but it will help you learn the Romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese) if you ever want to.

  6. spanish is the easier one. latin is bigger and more complex, plus not many places teach latin anymore

  7. Spanish, I speak Spanish! Plus, Latin is a dead language that is very old and full of culture. No one speaks Latin anymore!

  8. Latin, hands down...only five irregular verbs!

But Spanish is a bit more useful on the want to speak with someone level.

I enjoyed them both!  Have always wished I could have done more Latin than I did.

  9. I don't know which one is easier- probably Latin since it's not a spoken language....BUT I would recommend taking Spanish- it will be much more useful. Latin is a dead language.

  10. Espanol . Spanish

But if you learn Latin first you will easily be able to learn, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Ocitian, Corsican, Catalan and Gallo with no problem, If you learn Spanish first it won't generally make learning Latin easy for you .

  11. Definitely Spanish. Having taken both myself, I can tell you that Spanish is much easier to learn and it is much more practical in today's world. Latin not only has declensions (which makes it more difficult to learn as you move up in higher levels of it), but it just isn't that practical, even in areas such as the medical field, which is touted as an area where you need Latin - not at all true. Learning Spanish is basically going to guarantee a better salary in today's job world as well since the need for it is growing rapidly.
