  1. Most people won't do something requiring extra effort without an incentive. For many people - including myself - it just makes sense to recycle because it can help prevent squandering natural resources. Ultimately this should help reduce costs of certain products, which could also be considered an incentive – albeit small and not immediately tangible.

But for those who do not see the benefits of recycling, perhaps a small fee could be paid per pound of glass, paper, aluminum, etc.?

  2. that should read, "encourage"...

  3. go up to people and smash there heads into the wall and tell them you better start to recycle before i beat you up..

lol j/k but i dont really know..

just tell your friends and maybe they will start to and then they will pass it on

  4. pay them...or is that too much to ask?  I guess there's no money in recycling...

  5. That is the problem all over the world.

To resolve that i would say start from 1 years old  they should teach kids where to put trash ,recycle paper ,bottle, plastic glass & etch...

The issue here is the Parents because kids follow Parents. To teach Parents to do how to recycle they should have a Class for that to help Environment and should have Government push policy about Recycling.

  6. I've heard of people turning in cans and bottles and paying for a car. Of course those people probably dig in trash cans for the cans and bottles. Which I don't want to do. More power to them, thank goodness for them, great for them and great for ecology. But the cans and bottles used from our own homes would be a big help. We should have our children collect the plastic bottles and cans take them to the bin and get the money. Maybe even ask their neighbors and relatives to save them for them. Make it a fun game, as to how much they can save up. They will be learning to recycle and learning to save money. Don't just hand them money all the time, let them earn it, this way and also by doing things for you and others. Schools should have more can drives!

  7. To encourage this, try telling others that doing so can help keep the cost of an item down when they don't have to make more containers but reuse the ones we already have then. Plastic is NOT biodegradable overall. IT is not eco friendly. I would also encourage it as the more trees used have led to more global warming factors by reducing the amount of shade we have to cool off the earth then as well. IF others still do it then they are adding to their own wastefulness and increase in the cost of the containers used then ignorantly.
