I have to study all the time for school and i know that especially for big tests or exams note cards are the way to go. Make a bunch of note cards for things you think you will need to know and quiz yourself and re-do the ones you get wrong. Also the night before a test or exam try studying before you go  to sleep. DO NOT do a all night study session its proven that you actually do better if you study then go to sleep and you will be more refreshed! Hope that helps!
