well maybe u should just say u needed a break for awhile and ur stressed bc lies lead into more lies. be honest! trust me!

Thats tough. Possibly try the whole your friend was going through a really hard time so you went to their house to help them out blah blah you didnt want to call and wake your parents..also you could act like you had to go pick up the friend somewhere if you drive.
