  4. oma, nan, gammy, mommom, big momma, grammy,

  5. My daughter is half Portuguese (from my side) and we call my mom Grandma (she's 41), and call her mom Avo. Avo is portuguese for Grandma.

See if you can find a word in another language for Grandma and call yourself that.

  6. First of I can't believe someone else spells there name the same way I do.  TABATHA.  I have never come across this.  No one can seem to get it right.

Anyways  My mother in law was young when she became a grandma for the first time.  She goes by Mi-Mi.

  8. My dear Tabatha...

Well, since I'm german, we call our granny : OMA ...Nana is another cute way to "hide" the oldfashioned "granny" !

  12. we call my great grandma nanny.....we dont really know why but we just do

  13. Well you can wait and see what the child starts calling you on her own. Most babies can't say "grandma" so they come up with something on their own anyways. My daughter started calling my mom "Mimi".  I like it.  My friends son started calling his grandma "Kiki" and that stuck.

    Others I've heard are:

    Nana

    Nona

    Grammy

    Gammy

    Ninny

    Oma

    Gigi

There are a ton more I'm sure.

  14. mamere pronounced (ma-mare) kukam (cree for grandma) baba (ukranian for grandma) abuela pronounced (ah-bwey-la) spanish for grandma

  15. Mim,Mimsi,Mimi,Nana,Granny,Gran,Nunu.Im sure there are others but I can't think of them.
