Whats another way for saying good bye without getting emotional?

my mum and sister are leaving tomorow morning at sunrise and i hate saying good byes. What shall i do? io aint gonna see them for a month. they know i hate saying good byes but how can i like say bye without getting emotional and stuff? thanks. :)

Say them good bye! and wish them happy journey.

Getting emotion or not - it is left to you.

I can never say good-bye or see you next week to my kids.  I only live 4 hours away but it's still hard.  Say like the other person said and if you shed a tear so what, it shows you are a caring person.

What is wrong with getting emotional. Of course you are going to miss them. A hug and a few tears are good

for all of you.

When you have finished wiping your eyes smile and say. !There now look what you have made me do!"

It is better to show feelings Poppet than to keep them bottled up and cry alone.

Awe, that's tough. How about writing them a letter for their trip, write what you want to say but cannot in person. Give them each a big hug, give them the letter or card with instructions to open it only when they're on the plane or however they're travelling. Tell them it's easier this way for you.

The Russian tradition is that just before your loved ones leave on a journey, you sit down together in silence for a few minutes; it's good luck for a safe journey. I used to be in a long-distance relationship with a Russian guy and we'd always do this just before parting. It actually helped to have a little ritual.

Inshallah they'll come back safely, and you'll go back too. Give your mum a hug goodbye, and try being nice to kalya for once. and its okay to be emotional, there's no shame in that. = )

wow, i wish my brother gets emotional when i leave, he just says, "bye."

but what my dad does when he goes over seas, he tells us hes leaving in a few days, and next thing you know, hes gone that morning.

he doesnt like saying goodbyes either, he starts to cry, and its not pretty when he cries.

but theres nothing wrong with getting emotional, its your sister, and seriously, i wish my brother would get emotional, that would make me feel special, lol.
