  1. I can help you get a template which has a whole stack of things you that can be put on a resume. Go into word and go file new. A list of types of documents will come up scroll down to resumes and click and heaps of resumes come up!!

Hope that helps. Good luck finding a job!!!

  2. Try:

                                                 name

                                               address

                                           phone numbers

what you hope to gain by writing this resume

activities you've participated in, including volunteering

    references available on request

Center the name, address, and phone numbers, then go to either left justification or fill justification for the rest, with a blank line between items.  Be sure to include those activities you've participated in that show you have some interest in or aptitude for the position you're apply for.  If you don't have any references, ask a teacher or other trusted adult to write one for you; it's good to have at between three and five references.

Use proper grammar and spelling, not text message shortcuts.

I'm not sure the centering will post properly - it didn't when I previewed the message.

    For example

                                                 Mary Smith

                                             123 Your Street

                                          Any Town, Any State

                                          555,666,7777 (home)

                                          555.777.8888 (cell)

Objective:  To obtain an entry-level position in retail sales.

    Activities:

Member of Girl Scout Troop 1234, 2000 - present

#1 cookie seller for Girl Scout Troop 1234, 2007

#1 cookie seller for Region X Girl Scouts, 2008

Member of Club XYZ, 2006 - present, club treasurer in 2007

Member of youth choir of My Church, 2002 - 2005

    References available on request.
