Whats are Good Songs To Ride On Your Horse With?!?

like when I ride I listen to my mp3 player hooked to the radio and I listen and my horse loves I Kissed a Girl and Liked it and Four Minutes and Beautiful Lie and so on.

Does anyone have any other good songs that gets there horse prancing or they just like to listen to when they ride?

I like some country like Big and Rich, Little big town, and Dierks Bentley

Mostly pop/alternative that's included is Aly & Aj"chemicals react", Flyleaf"all around me" and Fort minors"remember the name", 30 Seconds to mars, Fall out boy And a bunch of others too

Some rap songs including Chamillionair"ridn" and Flo rida"low" too...

I like a very wide variety of music

my horse loves a good steady beat. lol.. well you could try listening to that "were coming to your city" song by big and rich... or mississippi girl. just something with a good nice powerful beat that stays strong through your ride

Some people say say that you shouldn't listen to music while you ride, but i see it as fine, I do it with my horse when I'm alone, and as long as I'm concerned, If I don't have a head phones in, it's fine. I'd say just upload your songs that you like and ride. :] I know I prefer country when I ride, either that or something with a good beat.

you shouldnt really listen to music whilst riding because if you are out hacking and a car is coming, if you cannot hear it you may not realise and you could end up in a serious accident.

try listening to music only when you are riding in the arena.

in this case listen to up beat songs that will get you in the mood for dancing, this will up your confidence and get you in the mood to ride.   :)

my trainer said that when there was a song on the radio i liked she could tell, b/c my riding looked better and my horse moved better/we moved together round the arena. she even suggested that we try that dressage where you ride to music, even tho none of my music would make it close to that event. lol

when i did ride with  the radio on i turned it to pop/rock/alt .  i remember when linkin park first came out with in the end, cause i'd make them turn it up while i was riding. lol.

Something smooth and flowing, maybe try an artist like Enya.

I enjoy listening to her whenever I am doing reining patterns, western pleasure, cooling off, etc.

especially when working dressage, or finding impulsion or rhythm, i like listening to Rag, especially scott Joplin(entertainer, maple leaf, solace. etc.) or swing. it is just as fun as jazz without syncopation to mess you up. there are songs for every rhythm and m horse loves it. she'll get in time to the music and it makes my job easier. most horses are this way, the like music. there are also no words to throw either of us off.

Depends on how fast we are working.  With cattle I like Chris Ledoux or Aaron Tippin,Toby Keith...anything with a fast beat.

Working on patterns...everyday 2-stepping country music by George Strait, Trace Adkins, just about any of the country music stars.

Gaming...the faster the beat...the better I like it.  I like Whitesnake and Skid Row and the like for some rock and roll!
