  1. Carbohydrates are a source of energy and work like fuel for the body. Nothing will happen to you if you don't eat them you can receive your energy from fats and proteins. But this is generally not considered healthy because your brain can not burn fats and need glucose (a carbohydrate) for energy - but these can be made from protein. However, you should eat some carbs as part of a healthy diet.

  2. They r poly hydroxide ketones or aldehydes

They r used for supporting the body with energy for all vital processes as they burn in a respiration cycle called krebs cycle to form the ATPs (adenosine triphophate) which r the units of storing enery in our body

Their defeciency makes the body burn proteins to get energy so the person gets thinner like the kids in Somalia, and to a certain limit the person dies

the human body needs daily a specific amount of carbohydrates for his activities so when u try to go on a diet , see a doctor first to tell u what is best for u.

  3. compunds containing carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. the body burns these in respiration to produce ATP energy. if you dont have enough, basically your body cant respirate, so you will be tired. in some cases, you could even die.

  4. complex carbs are made of sugars linked together they break down slowly to release energy, technically you cant have a carb deficiency, only low blood sugar, then you can eat sugar or carbs since complex carbs break down into sugar.

  5. things like potatoes and pasta.

  6. carbohydrates are one of the principal components of the human body.

they also form the chief source of rapidly accessible , energy.

carbohydrates are of various kinds, and are commonly referred to as sugars.

they could be simple eg: glucose, sucrose, fructose, or sometimes they could even be complexed with other basic materials like proteins forming what are known as aminoglycosans, these are responsible for forming collagen and other matrix materials( basically connective tissue) in the body.

carbohydrate deficiency is not a principally clinical term, since glucose is not stored as glucose but as glycogen, so carbohydrate deficiency would be something you would find in a ship wrecked sailor, or someone lost in a desert.

Carbohydrate deficiency is easily solved by eating or rather drinking honey-- a quick and easily digestible source of these carbs/.

its important to watch out for carbohydrate overdose since excess carb is converted into fat ,,and this is tough to loose.

in the west,, carbohydrates are replaced by proteins as the chief nutrient in food, whereas in countries located in asia,, carbohydrates form the chief nutrient.

carbohydrates are important in hospitals where a simple dextrose solution is administered iv, to a patient of shock or even just like a little pick me up.

    i hope this helps!
