What's better--Subway or Quiznos? Hmmm. Personally, I like Quiznos because I like the healthy choices and I like my sandwich heated without having to ask. Also, I like the fact that the workers @ Quiznos practice good personal hygiene--whenever money is exchanged for the meal, the worker washes his or her hands, then puts on the disposable gloves before returning to make my sandwich. I have had to ask Subway workers to wash their hands with soap and warm water before putting on the disposable gloves and then proceed to make my sandwich. I shouldn't have to ask them to do this, but if I don't ask, they handle money and then put the disposable gloves on, proceeding to make the sandwiches for the next customer (me) in line. I don't want to pay to get sick! Plus, I like Quiznos best!! So, I guess it's personal choice as to which one is the better of the two.

Actually, if you look at the nutritional info on both Subway's and Quiznos' web sites, you can get healthier subs at Quiznos than Subway. I love them both, though, and they both have some great healthy options (and some tasty not-so-healthy splurges). The meat is definitely better quality at Quiznos, but the bread is better at Subway. The soup is better at Quiznos. Subway has baby spinach as an alternative to lettuce. Subway is generally cheaper, although Quiznos' simpler subs (i.e. plain turkey, plain ham, etc.) can be made into a combo (even with soup!) for about $5-$6 total.

Isn't Quiznos the sandwich shop that is infested with those ugly legless rats they call "sponge-monkeys"?

I can never get that image out of my mind, so Subway is my choice.

BTW, "bather" is someone who is taking a bath or swimming.
