Mace brand defense spray and Sabre 3n1 products contain a mix of OC and CS, CS can take longer to take effect than OC has longer side effects, it is also more likely to be lethal to someone with breathing problems, though that is of little concern when defending yourself, also OC is more effective on a subject that is under the influence. CN was replaced with CS as CS is more effective, the only CN I've seen available was by itself and obviously should be avoided. There really is no certain answer for your question you just have to decided what you want to carry and that's assuming you have the option, Mace and Sabre 3n1 are certainly good products and again the addition of CS and a UV dye in both certainly can help add to the suffering, but you can also use a quality OC spray and make their day as well.
