  1. You don't say WHY you have muscle pains, so I'll assume it is just from overdoing it.

    ASA, Aleve (Naprosyn) or Advil (Ibuprofen) are all Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatories (NSAID's)  

    They all work well to treat muscle and joint pains due to inflammation.  ASA isn't used as much for  it's pain relieving properties anymore, because it is also a strong blood thinner. The baby ASA is strictly used as a blood thinner, it is not strong enough for pain control.

    Naprosyn is a bit stronger than Ibuprofen.  Both are safe and effective in the recommended doses.  It is always best not to take them on an empty stomach, as they may irritate the stomach lining.  You can switch between them, but you shouldn't combine two different NSAIDs as increased risk of harmful effects on the stomach.
