Whats best to use on a wood table?

I have a new wood table its finished.Whats best to use to keep it shiny and new? What type of cleaner polish and cloth should I use?Thanks in advance

Put a glass wall partition between yourself and the table - you can look at it but nobody can touch it.   Check out museums.

First use a mild detergent solution to remove any grease and dirt. Then use a spray can of polyurethane (like brand name like Varathane). It comes in satin or gloss finish, your preference. Apply 2 coats. This is a very good protectant against water and very durable. It can be used on outside furniture for protection. Also it is very UV resistant.

I recommend Murphys Oil. It really works and it only takes a small amount.
