Whats better, a blackberry pearl or a blackberry 8800 series ???

im thinking of getting one in 2 months, but i don't know which one is better

The only thing that is different about the Pearl and 8800 series is that the 8800 series has a full QWERTY keyboard. And the Pearl is much smaller. Personally I would not want the 8800. I have the Pearl and I love it.

i love the pearl, i've had mine since february and i haven't had a problem with it yet. the pearl has everything on it you'd want/need, it's just a smaller device which works out perfect for me :) good luck on the final decision!

The pearl is much smaller in form, yet has the same Blackberry set-up and design that made them popular.  Its smaller size, but full-function keyboard, would seem to make it a better choice (unless you like talking into a pancake)

The major differences between the 88xx and 81xx devices are the 88xx devices do not have a camera on them. They also have the full QWERTY keypad, where the Pearl devices have the SureType keypad, with two letters per key.

Of course the Pearl device is smaller than the 88xx devices, the smallest BlackBerry to date. I personally like the Pearl device. I do recommend getting a second-generation Pearl device (8110, 8120, or 8130) if you are going to be getting a Pearl. The second-generation Pearls have a better camera, keypad, and come with built-in GPS or Wi-Fi, depending on the model.
