Whats better 1998 ford explorer or a chevy blazer?

The Explorer is definitely a better choice. The Blazer and GMC Jimmy around that year model had a major defect of the air intake and caused a lot of people including me, a lot of headaches. The way the intake manifold was designed on certain engine models allowed gunk to build up under the intake and effect the breathing of the engine. This was most common on the 4.3 liter vortec.

i like the way the explorer looks and rides , but i have a blazer and would not trade it for the ford . and i like fords

Blazer.

More fun to drive, better on gas, more reliable from my experiences, and better looking.
