Whats better? 4 12" in a sealed box or 2 12" in a ported box??? ?

I'm trying to get as much as bass out of my car as possible.I want to be heard from 2 to 3 blocks away.And what about a band pass box??

depends on your budget and sub, amp and head unit.

i would say get a 13-15'' dub7 and there custom box for it, 2000watt amp highend jbl, maybe alpine headunit, and look for >.001 harmonic distortion. and i hope you got space because these boxes are huge, took up all of my extended cab part of my s10.
