I'll always love Australia because it's where I was born and raised. But I am moving to the US to marry my fiance so I should add that I have never found Americans to be any more rude, abnoxious or arrogant than Australians. As for the comment that Australia has beaches, mountains, rainforests and native animals... so does the USA! lol.

we aren't hated by most of the world. Ask people from other countries they will say Australia is better than America, even if they don't know anything about Australia, they will know it must be better than America.

Being an Aussie, I'll say Australia.

There are good and bad things about both countries.

Sadly, at least one answer on here makes it easy to see why Americans are sometimes considered to be obnoxious and totally up themselves.

I live in queensland, australia, but i have been to america and am going again in a couple of months.

Australians are definately alot more friendly, and we have everything here. Beaches, mountains, deserts, rainforests and all the native animals. America though, with the things it does have they do it bigger and better, themeparks for example. they have them underground and 169 stories about sea level.

All up i say australia is better though, the atmosphere is awesome and the environment is great!!!

AUSSIE PRIDE!! n "dru" don't be a wanka, there's no need for rasism towards us aussies... australia has real nice easy going people but that also depends where you go... the city generally has less friendly people coz it's more rushed (not saying all city folks are unfriendly) but around the country and beaches the people are more friendly... good atmosphere... I'm sure there may be some good places in America but personally i prefer a more laid back society so i'd go Australia all the way
