I know that generally the more gigs the better, but I've never been too sure about AMD processors. The computers that I'm looking at to buy are both pretty similar except these processors. The 3GB is the same price because it's an AMD but it also has a larger Hard Drive. Should I trust the AMD and get the faster computer or should I get the more reliable Intel?

  1. AMD Processor, because they process less strings of information QUICKER than Intel processing more strings of information slower.

    Hope that makes sense...

  2. AMD is better

  3. It depends on what you want to do with your processor/computer. AMD is not that good with their dual core processor lines - they are slow, sluggish and thermally inefficient. Intel Core 2 Duos are faster, more thermally efficient, and generally much more powerful than AMD. Go with Intel's line. You can always add a second hard drive at a later date if you need it
