Whats better? NY or london?

I just got back from NY a few weeks ago and I was really amazed, it is an AMAZING city. Just everything was grat the shopping, atmosphere and OMG Times Square lol. BUT being a Londoner I have to say that London is better than NYC. Yes its smaller but soo amazing. The diverse cultures, busy atmophere, culture, musuems, parks and transport. Plus the accents are better lol. Yes I said it London is definatly the best city in the world.

I live in London & i guess that makes me bias! When i went to NY it was amazing but London is too. I prefer the prices in NY but atmosphere in London...♥ღ♥

Oh that's a tough one... London is great - I've lived here for nearly eight years - but NY is all new to me - only been once - so I'd say NY!

Both cities are glorious and both cities are related. New York and London are sister cities - NYLON.

Very different towns, not to be compared.

Both towns are amazing and have lots of interesting sights and activities.

Depends on what you are looking for.

I love both but for different reasons.

My suggestion , if at all possible, would be for you to visit both cities and decide by yourself which one you prefer.

I have learned, over the years, to form my OWN opinion ONLY once I am at the new unknown place and never to go there with a pre-concieved opinion or with the opinion I got from someone else. You may be in for a disappointment. One has to figure it out for oneself.

e.g. I was told, years ago, that life in Nigeria for an expat was plain and simply h**l on earth. Guess what : I really enjoyed my time there and cried when I had to leave the place.

So, my advice is to figure it out by yourself, watch lots of documentaries and check out their websites to see if they meet your expectations for what you are looking for when visiting or living in a new city or a new country for that matter.

never been to new york,,,but i must say the best thing ever to come out of london is the M1 motorway...

london is a terrific place to come from and an even better place to stay away from!

They're both amazing cities in their own ways. London has more history - New York has more diversity.
