SNL has gone down some lately but Mad Tv will not be on as long as SNL has been & I have been watching it since 1975.  Don't think Mad Tv will last as long as SNL has either.  SNL is the originator of late night sketch tv & Mad Tv, which I like & Miss Swan & Stewart are my favorite characters, is good but not an original idea of a show but somewhat of a clone

NO. Even though SNL is slowing going downhill the writing is more cleaver and less broad than Mad TV. And SNL has better people.
