Whats better X-box or PS2 and how much can i sell my old x-box for?

cos right now my lil' cusion wants an x-box or a PS2 and her mam wont buy 2nd - it has to be new - and my old X-box is sat in my roon looking like an old brick :( ugly

PS2 WAY BETTER!

Xbox sell for about 20 quid in a shop plus around 5er per game depending on condition.

You can buy the original xbox for £25 in gamestation. you would not get much for it at all. If its between an XBox360 or PS3 then go for both, we did and they're both have there great pints (PS3 has blue ray tho)!!!!

Technically Xbox is stronger, but it's obsolete now (no new games released, no support from Microsoft), so, despite it's technical advantages, you won't be able to sell it for a lot of money. Sorry...

On the other hand, PS2 is still supported by Sony, it's still in production and it has thousands of games out. The latest PS2 game will be released in 2009 (according to www.ign.com).

Xbox? You'll get £10 or £15 for it if you're lucky! Not enough for a 2nd hand PS2 let alone a new one.

The Xbox is in the worst possible position, value wise - it's obsolete (no longer in the shops), but isn't yet old enough to be "retro" or collectable. The PS2 is worth more because it's still being made and games are still coming out for it.

Have a look for prices on ebay! see what there going for.  I had a look yesterday cos we have the old ugly one sitting there and amazingly they were going for £12!!!shocking I know

ps2 is better and you could sell an xbox alone for probably 30 bucks at a pawn shop
