  1. The Western..it takes you to lovely ports..St. Maarten ..try and take a tour to the French side St. Martin.....and it goes to St. Thomas

I would go on the Western...because of the ports.

  2. I've done many cruises-eastern, western, exotic western, southern.

Depending on your age, I would probably say the western and exotic western has more unusual things to do. If you visit Grand Cayman-you MUST swim with the stingrays.  If you go to Belize and Costa Rica there is the cave tubing and jungle excursions like canoping. Jamaica has fun party boats and beautiful waterfalls. I think it's just a personal preference. Check out the website http://www.caribeez.com for lots of island information to decide what you want out of your excursions. Each island has it's pros and cons. Have fun.

  3. The eastern or southern is the best. Islands  such as Antigua, St. Kitt's etc. shouldn't be missed. So make sure your cruise passes through them. Especially Antigua.

  4. I've done the western twice (the second time with my adult children), eastern once and southern once. I LOVED them all. The only bad cruise is the one I'm not on. Just choose the ones with the itinerary that you like. My favorite ports are Western: Grand Caymen, Belize, Cozumel and Costa Maya: Eastern: St Thomas (took the ferry over to St. John), St, Martin, and the Bahamas. For the Southern I loved Antigua, and St Lucia. I have "graduated" from 7 days to 10 days and hope to do a 14 day next time.
