If I must wear underwear (I don't most of the time), I choose briefs over boxers.  Briefs are form fitting to my body; they hug my area snugly and make my 'essence' stand out, if you know what I mean.  Boxers are good for letting everything 'hang free'.  When it comes to 'hang free', I'll go without any underwear.

Personally I don't think that boxers serve a functional purpose other than putting a thin layer between your skin and your outer garments. Briefs serve multiple purposes in sports and day to day activities. If you do a little research and spend a couple extra bucks, you can get a good pair of briefs that give you proper support without constricting. I have always been a briefs fan all my life and have never been able to be comfortable in boxers in any scenario.

I must be doing something different, because my briefs don't ride up my a** so I don't have to pull them out, and they only take a second to get off.

Boxer briefs are the best. I have a few pairs of boxers, but they aren't as supportive as boxer briefs but boxer briefs are looser then briefs and more comfortable. But that's personal opinion.

i like briefs because it keeps the boys warmer and closer together.  They get irritated when apart for too long.
