Question:

Whats better external drive or upgrade internal drive for the ps3 and which on is easier to setup and use?

i am thinking of getting a ps3 and i want to upgrade it and i am not that good with tech

p.s i am 13 and i am upgrading it alone

  1. Internal Hard drive is easier than external so whenever you move it you don't have to pick up the hard drive as well.

    This is a 250gb Hard Drive that I used to upgrade my PS3 and it works GREAT!

  2. A PS3 would not boot from an external hard drive, nor would it access save game data/Demos/Insalled games. An external drive would be great for storing songs/movies/pictures etc to keep it off the standard HDD. If you are looking for overall capacity, I would go with getting a bigger internal one.
